A GREEN COMPANY
When you wash your car on pavement, the rinse water runoff — along with all the chemicals it contains — can go to storm drains that empty directly into rivers and streams. This pollution has been proven to negatively impact aquatic life and ecosystems.
Lakewood Car Wash prevents water pollution by routing wash water to treatment prior to its return to the environment.
Plus, we only use 25 gallons (94.6 liters) or less of fresh water per car wash — less than the typical home washing machine or washing your car at home.
Electricity is how car washes are powered. Lakewood Car Wash has invested heavily in energy efficient equipment and the use of of VFD’s. Variable frequency drives (VFDs) as motor control devices is one of the best ways for more effective use of energy to power motors in a car wash operation. Our VFD’s allows us to either turn up the power, or reduce it, depending on demand, resulting in significant energy conservation.

Lakewood Car Wash was the first car wash in Lakewood and we are proud to carry the name of this historic City. We made big improvements in equipment, technology and service offers in the past 10 years, more than over the past 60 years combined. We are passionate about car washing and promise to keep bringing you the very best our industry has to offer. We are planning big surprises for 2021!

Throughout the last 10 years, our Community Outreach programs have been a part of helping local organizations raise funds that benefit the community. We clean cars so you don’t have to, and we provide an easy means for you to benefit financially from our partnership. We look forward to expanding our support in the future.
